In Japanese, “Reiki” means“Universal Life Energy”.

Today, many know reiki as the healing technique in which a practitioner places hands lightly on or over a person’s body to accelerate and enhance their body’s natural healing abilities.

For me, however, reiki is so much more than the facilitation of one’s energy during a hands-on session. To me, reiki is a meditation. It is a daily practice of conscious connection to the things we feel but cannot see, and it is a doorway into the oneness of everything.

Reiki is not religious or dogmatic in any way. It will always meet you exactly where you are. If it is your wish though, it can open up an inner spiritual dimension by deepening your connection with the part of life that has no physical expression.

Imagine being able to ground and balance yourself whenever and wherever you need it. Imagine feeling an instant connection to the invisible life force around you and within you and learning to become a channel for this healing energy.

Once attuned as a Reiki practitioner, you will be able to give Reiki healing to yourself and to anyone else whenever you choose to. One does not need to want to practice reiki as a profession to receive immense benefit from this training.

Reiki can be a wonderful support for overall health, particularly when you are going through difficult transitions. It can assist you with pain management, and improve your sleep. Furthermore, regular Reiki can enhance your overall quality of life, by deepening your connection with your own center.

Reiki training happens in four parts, each a full day retreat with food included:

Healing your physical body.

In this level you get introduced to what Reiki is, and we spend a full day exploring its possibilities and learning all the basics. You will be attuned by me to the first level, and you will receive the first Reiki symbol.

You will learn how to connect with the energy and give yourself a daily healing, and you will learn how to give Reiki to others plus how to clear a room. You will also receive a book with a detailed description about everything we learn, and at the end of the day you will receive a certificate of completion of the first level.

Healing your emotional body.

In this level you will expand on what you have learned in Reiki I, and you will receive two more symbols.

You will be attuned to the second level of Reiki, and learn more about how to give others Reiki, plus how to send Reiki distantly to others. You receive a book with detailed descriptions of everything we have learned, and a certificate of completion at the end of the day.

Connecting with your spiritual body.

In this level the energy intensifies. We will build upon what we have learned in the two previous levels, and you will receive another two symbols to focus your intentions and energy. We will continue with learning how to use the new symbols both in self healings and in healings we give to others.

I will attune you to the 3rd level, and you will learn a moving meditation to help you connect with your purpose. You will get the book with everything we have learned, plus the certificate of completion at the end of the day.

Integrating it all.

In the master level of Reiki, the energy culminates as you gets attuned and learn the final two Reiki symbols. We will build on everything else, and I will round off your Reiki training by teaching you how to attune others to Reiki.

You will receive a book with everything you have learned and detailed instructions, plus a certificate of completion proving that you can call yourself a Reiki master. Having said that, Mastery comes with dedication and practice – this training just opens the door for you to choose it.

I do offer individual reiki sessions for those desiring some extra support. If interested, contact me here.

Your Reiki session is conducted on a massage table, fully clothed, in a quiet, sacred environment. I will place my hands gently on or just above your body.

Everyone will experience reiki in their own unique way. Some experience a dramatic sensation while others experience a more subtle energetic shift. For many, receiving reiki is like a deeply relaxing meditation without any effort on your part.

Reiki is cumulative and even people who don’t notice much the first time usually have more powerful experiences the more they continue. Besides the immediate experience you have during the session, you may find that after a session you can experience additional benefits such as easier digestion, less fatigue and stress, or better sleep.
